Ehl Ohh Vee Eeeeks!!! I l.o.v.e. it!

I loves me some Vegas decoratin. When I came across this gem, I wasn't so intrigued by the house (there aren't tons of interesting houses there architecturally, except maybe for the Scotch 80s and some of the homes on/near Alta), but the decor! I'm at an impasse; I love the kitsch and I love the bohemian... somewhere right in the middle is where I live. I love the wackiness, weirdness and zef qualities of kitsch, the soulfulness of boho. These finds were just about perfect for me, in bringing these two styles together.

Dreaming in Gaga

Last night I was having this really wild dream about being Lady Gaga. Not sure where that came from. Going to look it up later on the curious dreamer and see what it means: perhaps the mysteries of the universe (or just me) will unfold before me. Probably not. Wold's World

They're sort of like what would happen if Dr. Seuss had been a furniture designer instead of a children's book author. I don't know Thomas Wold, but I picture him at rummage sales and thrift shops rooting around for the perfect wood furnishings to paint and put together... coming up with amazing color schemes. You rock, Thomas Wold!
